Refund & Warranty Policy

This Refund & Warranty Policy applies to all purchases made from Lectra Automotive.
1. Change-of-Mind Returns
We accept returns within 14 days of delivery for change of mind. Items must be unused, in original condition and packaging. Customers are responsible for return shipping. No restocking fees apply. Final sale items are excluded.
2. Warranty Coverage
All products are covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of delivery against:

LED failure
-
Driver failure
-
Defects in materials or workmanship
3. What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:

Damage from incorrect installation or wiring
-
Incorrect polarity
-
Use without required relays on high-draw systems
-
Cutting or modifying factory wiring
-
Use of non-approved drivers, ballasts, or controllers
-
Abuse, misuse, off-label use, or modification
-
Wear and tear from normal use (e.g. fading, scuffing)
-
Damage caused by external factors (e.g. collision, corrosion, water damage from damaged seals)
-
Products installed on vehicles with incompatible electrical systems
-
Improper cleaning or maintenance
-
Opening or tampering with sealed headlight housings
-
Cosmetic damage
-
Condensation unless persistent and caused by a manufacturing defect
4. Warranty Claim Process
To submit a warranty claim, you must provide:

Order number
-
Photos of the issue
-
Videos showing the fault
-
Installation photos
Claims must be submitted to support@lectraauto.com.au.
5. Remedies
Where a product is confirmed faulty and under warranty, Lectra Automotive will, at its discretion:
-
Repair the product, or
-
Replace the product, or
-
Issue a refund if repair or replacement is not possible or two reasonable repair attempts have failed
Replacement products inherit the remaining warranty period.
6. Refund Conditions
Refunds will only be issued where:

A warranty fault is confirmed; and
-
Repair or replacement is not possible
No refunds will be issued for change of mind.
7. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including your right to a refund, repair, or replacement for a major failure.
8. Chargebacks and Disputes
Customers must contact Lectra Automotive and allow a reasonable opportunity to assess and resolve any issue before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.
Warranty claims and order processing may be suspended while a chargeback or payment dispute is active.
Where a chargeback is found to be fraudulent or made in bad faith, Lectra Automotive reserves the right to refuse future service.
